Tekmar Secures $1.5m Contract in Marine Infrastructure Expansion

Tekmar Group plc, the Newton Aycliffe-based engineering specialist, has announced a new contract valued at approximately $1.5 million with an existing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) customer.
The scope of the project includes the provision of bespoke engineered scour protection solutions alongside specialised lifting and installation equipment. Completion is scheduled for December 2025.
The award marks another step in Tekmar’s strategic expansion into the ports and harbours development sector, which the Group identifies as a key area of future growth. Traditionally focused on offshore energy, the company is increasingly applying its asset protection expertise to wider marine infrastructure.
