T12 Engineering Visits Rio to Accelerate Brazil Expansion

Directors from T12 Engineering have completed their first in-person visit to Brazil, meeting with senior leaders at strategic partner Priner Serviços Industriais S.A. as the two firms advance their joint ambitions across the country’s growing energy sector.

Graham Melroy and Andrew Hughes travelled from the UK to Rio de Janeiro to strengthen the partnership and align on plans to support Brazil’s expanding offshore and onshore energy markets.

The visit included attendance at OTC Brasil – one of the world’s leading offshore technology conferences – where the team also met with current and prospective clients to explore new collaboration opportunities.

This trip follows October’s announcement of the strategic alliance, which brings together T12’s global engineering and subsea expertise with Priner’s strong domestic presence as one of Brazil’s leading industrial and engineering service providers.

The two companies are now building an integrated delivery model spanning the full lifecycle of energy assets – from conceptual studies, advanced engineering and procurement, through to operations, maintenance, commissioning and decommissioning.

T12, which operates from Teesside, Glasgow and Edinburgh, used the visit to refine its service offer and agree strategic priorities for its long-term Brazilian presence. Together, the firms aim to bring technical depth, innovation, and operational resilience to clients across the region.

Brazil is one of the world’s most dynamic offshore regions, with significant investment forecast in deep-water developments, enhanced recovery initiatives, and long-term asset integrity programmes.

Graham Melroy, Director at T12 Engineering, said:

“Meeting the Priner team for the first time in person was invaluable and allows us to map out a clear strategy for how we can jointly support clients across Brazil’s offshore and onshore sectors. There’s a genuine desire on both sides to bring new ideas, practical innovation and long-term value to the market.”

Andrew Hughes, Director at T12 Engineering, added:

“Brazil is a developing market with enormous potential. What makes this partnership so strong is the blend of Priner’s in-country strength and T12’s specialist engineering expertise. With Priner supporting the commercial and legal frameworks locally, we can concentrate on delivering the technical solutions that clients require.”

Melroy concluded:

“We’re genuinely excited about what lies ahead. This is an important foundation for our long-term presence in Brazil, and the opportunities for international growth are significant.”
