Tekmar Lands Second Major €8m Offshore Wind Contract

Offshore energy firm Tekmar Group has secured a second multi-million-euro contract to supply its specialist cable protection systems for a major UK wind farm project.

The deal, worth over €8 million, comes from an existing customer in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) space, and follows a strong track record of previous work between the two companies.

Tekmar, based in the North East and listed on AIM, will supply its 10th Generation Cable Protection System (CPS) along with related components. The company’s in-house engineering team will tailor the system for the project, drawing on its proven design expertise.

Delivery is expected in late 2027, subject to a final investment decision in early 2026. Revenue from the contract will be spread across Tekmar’s 2026 and 2027 financial years.

Tekmar CEO Richard Turner said: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with this customer through the award of another major project. This contract reinforces Tekmar’s position as the clear market leader in subsea asset protection, with our technologies protecting two thirds of the world’s installed offshore wind capacity. This significant contract builds on our growing success and order book momentum, which is improving utilisation and provides longer term revenue visibility.”

This latest win strengthens Tekmar’s growing pipeline and reflects confidence in its ability to deliver reliable, technically robust protection systems for offshore infrastructure.
