Logic-i Group, the specialist project management consultancy renowned for its work on complex construction and infrastructure projects, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of experienced commercial and contracts specialist Michelle Harcourt.
Joining as Senior Consultant, Michelle brings over 25 years of expertise across the construction and engineering sectors. With a career spanning quantity surveying, commercial management, and project controls, she will play a pivotal role in supporting Logic-i’s continued expansion both in the UK and internationally.
Her arrival is a strategic move to meet growing demand across the Group’s portfolio. She has already made an immediate impact by securing a major new client for the Yarm-based consultancy.
Michelle began her career as a Quantity Surveyor at Faithful+Gould and has since held a number of senior leadership positions, including Commercial Account Manager at Sembcorp (Wilton International), Commercial Director at Hertel Technical Services Ltd, and most recently, Commercial Director at Mech-Tool Engineering Ltd in Darlington.
Her background includes delivering commercial strategies for large-scale engineering and energy projects, with a strong blend of consultancy and client-side experience. Her capabilities in risk management, cost control and project governance align closely with Logic-i’s ethos of delivering precision, transparency and assurance.
Stephen Priestley, Director at Logic-i Group, commented:
“Michelle brings a rare combination of technical expertise and commercial leadership. Her ability to deliver high-value, complex projects with clarity and control makes her a natural fit for Logic-i. We’re delighted to have her on board as we continue expanding our capacity to meet client needs across multiple sectors.”
Her appointment comes during a period of rapid growth for Logic-i, which recently launched two new specialist divisions - Commercial-i and Commission-i - to provide end-to-end project and commissioning services.
Based in Teesside, Michelle will work across Logic-i’s portfolio, with a particular focus on commercial strategy, risk mitigation, and project assurance.
Michelle Harcourt said:
“I’m thrilled to join Logic-i at such an exciting point in its journey. The company’s commitment to technical excellence and transparent project delivery aligns with my own approach. I look forward to delivering robust, commercially sound projects that meet the highest standards of governance and performance.”
