West Yorkshire-based sealing technology specialist Flexitallic has expanded its presence in South East Asia by appointing Singapore-headquartered Petracarbon as its Allied Partner for Thailand and Singapore.

The agreement will strengthen local access to Flexitallic's sealing technologies, engineering expertise and technical support across the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine and wider industrial sectors.

Headquartered in Cleckheaton, where its principal manufacturing facilities are based, Flexitallic develops and manufactures specialist sealing products used in some of the world's most demanding operating environments. The company's UK network also includes service centres in Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, Ellesmere Port and Bridgend, providing engineering support, gasket manufacturing, joint integrity services, technical training and product distribution.

Petracarbon has more than four decades of experience supporting operators across South East Asia and has established a strong reputation for delivering specialist engineering and joint integrity services that improve safety, reliability and operational performance.

Under the agreement, Petracarbon will offer Flexitallic's full portfolio of products and solutions, including the company's Change™ live-loading technology and Thermiculite® range of high-temperature sealing materials.

The collaboration is designed to help operators improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime and enhance long-term asset performance, while providing access to local technical support and application expertise.
