‘TRAILBLAZER’ DANIELLE CROCE NAMED TEES BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR 2024 FOR PIONEERING LEADERSHIP IN SAFETY TECH

Danielle Croce, Commercial Director at Intasite, a cutting-edge technology platform specialising in safety and site access solutions for safety-critical industries, has been crowned Tees Businesswoman of the Year 2024. The prestigious award, which attracted over 20 nominations, was presented at a glittering ceremony held at Hardwick Hall, County Durham, in front of 350 business leaders from across the North East.

Danielle has been hailed as a trailblazer for her innovative leadership in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Under her guidance, Intasite has revolutionised safety processes in high-risk industries through the use of digital tools that streamline site access and safety inductions, improving both compliance and efficiency.

Founded in 2015, Intasite has become a leader in its field, with Danielle steering the company to a 40% turnover increase over the past two years. To meet growing demand, Intasite has expanded both its office space and workforce, including hiring its first apprentice through a partnership with Middlesbrough College.

Intasite has also secured key contracts with major industry players such as AB InBev and CityFibre, while making inroads into the renewable energy sector through partnerships with Equinor’s Dogger Bank Wind Farm, SSE Renewables, and EDF Renewables.

The Intasite platform delivers a suite of digital tools designed to streamline safety processes, offering interactive safety modules that can be accessed from any desktop or mobile device. Additional features include contractor and supplier management, safety briefings, language translation options, and integration with access control systems for enhanced security.

By digitising safety inductions, Intasite enables organisations to boost employee engagement, enhance understanding, and maintain compliance, all while improving site productivity.

Danielle expressed her gratitude, saying: “I’m completely overwhelmed! It was an honour just to be nominated. This recognition is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the hard work of the entire Intasite team.

“The award is particularly meaningful as, until January, I was the only female at Intasite. I’m proud that we’ve now welcomed Faye to the team. It’s a significant step in an industry traditionally dominated by men, and I hope this inspires others, including my two young daughters, to chase their dreams.”
